Hadlea turns 1

A couple weeks ago I met this adorable little girl for her 1 year photo session. Her mom had told me about the outfits she wanted Hadlea to wear & that she didn't want the typical 1 year old photos, she wanted something different, something fun! So I was super excited for this session.
Hadlea did an amazing job! She was full of smiles & definitely not camera shy at all. I hope I get the pleasure of working with this cute little family in the future.

Drew Molencupp

If you know any of the recent Grads from Glenpool then Im sure you've heard of Drew Molencupp. We have several close friends in common, Iv heard about him several times over the past year or two but it wasn't until about a month ago that I had the opportunity to meet him. & Im glad I did before he headed off to College. Drew is a pretty amazing young man, a great Football player, & he's a sweet heart! He brought several props along for the shoot & had some pretty good ideas. We definitely made a great team & got some incredible photos that day.

Drew does some Boxing & wanted to get some shots with some of his gear on. I thought this would be a great time to bust out the flash for some dramatic stuff. So I was playing with my flash/exposure, bc if you know my lighting technique you know I dont use a meter =) haha. So I was checking the exposure & drew was just patiently waiting.
The outcome = one amazing photo!!

Draigan & Denton

These 2 little one's belong to my sister, which means I get to spend time with them ALL the time!! =) They are 2 out of 4, nephews & a niece, who I call "The Wild Things." Bc boy are they a wild bunch! haha. Which is why Im surprised that these 2 did a fantastic job during this session. Our last one, didn't go very good at all! The little one is either way to busy to sit still or thinks its his turn to "play" with the camera. & the oldest one finally got over feeling embarrassed when he smiled, which is good, bc smiles are much needed!!
My parents have built a little jungle in our backyard with vines all over that inclose our yard & lots of patio furniture, including this antique bed, which made an excellent prop. Then we headed out to my bro's house to do some fishing photos, bc these 2 LOVE to go fishing. I think they could spend all day out at the pond.

The Admires

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of meeting these 2 adorable little girls. Bryle is 3 & just loves being an older sister. Fun little fact: she loves blue M&M's & just talking about them makes her smile from ear to ear. Her new little sister, Peyton, was just 13 days old when we did this session. I love photographing sleeping babies the most, they are much easier to work with. So when I arrived & saw that Peyton was wide awake, I was afraid she wouldn't cooperate all too well, but she did fantastic. & She is definitely the smallest baby Iv ever seen, weighing just shy of 5 lbs at birth.
This session was a lot of fun, I really enjoyed it & we definitely got some great stuff!!

She's so tiny, she fit perfectly!!

Tanner & Hayden

I met Tanner when he was about 3 months old. He quickly became my little buddy & a huge part of my life. For the first few years of his life I got to spend almost every day of the week with him.

A little over 2 months ago, Tanner's baby sister arrived, & I get the amazing opportunity to spend time with her also. I Learned last night, that she's a lot like T when he was a baby, which means she's a pretty good cuddler!

LOVE IT!!!

The Ragsdill Family

The Gifts I have received, I am called to Sow.

God has blessed me with an Incredible gift & Talent. I know w/o a doubt this is His purpose for my life & Im so glad Im finally in a place in my life that I can begin sowing my gift & it reach many.

With that said, Im honored to share this little story & these Family photos with you. A few weeks ago My sis inlaw called me & told me about a friend of hers that is going through some hard times & in the near future will have to have surgery. But before that scary day arrives she wanted to have Family photos done. My heart went out to this family, I kind of understand what they are going through. Last year my mom was diagnosed with Breast Cancer & it was one scary ride. I knew there was very little I could do to help this family, but definitely wanted to do something. I was discussing it with my parents & we were all led to help & give in any way we could. We decided that we would take care of this for them, we know how much it helps just having one less thing to worry about when you're already going through so much. So my parents provided the financial means, while I gave my time & talent. & honestly I couldn't have found a better, more appreciative family if I had tried.

I was definitely reminded that when you trust God & realize the purpose He has put on your life & you go after it, You receive so many blessings in return. I simply gave back what had been given to me & now God has opened the windows of Heaven & Im receiving so many blessings in return.

They are such a cute family! & this was definitely the most exciting session I have ever been on, It was an adventure I surely won't forget =)

Dominic

Dominic is a soon to be Graduate from Kiefer HS & plans on joining the Navy shortly after. Thanks to Sheridan, I got the pleasure of shooting his Senior Photos last week. It was a lot of Fun, even got to cruise around in a golf cart, haha. I arranged to show up at his house early & check out the place. I was informed they lived on some land & there were a few places around the house they would like to include in the photos. I love when people have ideas or props to use, it makes the photos that much more personal. I showed up to his house & was amazed, I heard his family was in the Oil business, but didnt expect to see several oil wells in his Huge front yard. We did a few things at his house with the pond, the oil wells, & his families 69 Camero; then we headed towards Tulsa. Dominic did an excellent job, he's such a natural in front of the camera. He was constantly changing things up, doing things I normally have to tell people to do. I love when people make my job easy.
